Mark 6:46                                                                                     

"And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray" 

If someone came up to you and said “ I’ve been too busy to breathe! ” You’d no doubt look with scepticism. Of course you have time to breathe. Life depends on it. Yet is the Christian who  claims “ I’m too busy to pray “ any less ludicrous? No ones daily schedule is busier than Jesus Himself, yet He not only found time, but made time, to pray.

We live in age where everything is rushed, but we need to learn to copy Christ’s example to prayer. Christian author and Speaker SD Gordon once said “ The greatest thing anyone can do for God and man is pray. It is not the only thing, but it is the chief thing. The great people of earth are the people who pray. I do not mean those who talk about prayer; nor those who say they believe in prayer; nor those who can explain about prayer;  but those people who take time to pray”                                                                                                       

There’s no better opportunity than right now! So take a breath, and whisper your hearts prayers to your heavenly Father.
